Petra Schmidt Born and raised in Czechoslovakia. Studies at the Humboldt University, Berlin, the Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich, and the Institute of Languages and Interpreting, Munich (1983 -1993). Since 1993 partner in Lautner, Rieger, Schmidt GbR, conference interpreter and translator. Study and postgraduate courses at the State K. D. Glinka Agriculture University, Voronezh, Russian Federation, doctorate in Contemporary History (2002 - 2009).
